What is a Cutaneous Horn?
A
- A hard conical projection from the skin, made of compact keratin
- They resemble an animal’s horn

Who typically gets Cutaneous Horns?
A
- Common in older patients 60-70
- Common in Fitzpatrick type 1 and 2 skin colours

What can be the base of the Cutaneous Horn?
A
- Seborrhoeic keratosis
- Viral warts (HPV)
- Actinic Keratosis
- SCC

What makes you suspect SCC?
A
When the base is:
- Painful
- Large
- Indurated
- Redness at the base
- Wide base

What is required for diagnosis?
A
- A biopsy to rule out malignancy

How is a Cutaneous Horn treated?
A
- Excision
