The appearance of the sun when light is blocked by the moon or appearance if the moon when light is blocked by the earth

Objects that produce no light
What is the definition of opaque?
A material that allows no light to pass through it
What is the definition of reflect?
changes in direction if light or sound when hit by a boundary and bounces back

What is a lunar eclipse in?
The earth goes n between the sun and the mon so that the moon glows a dim shade of red (due to the dust particles) instead of its usual silver
What happens if you stand in the umbra when the lunar eclipse?
The moon completely blocks he light from the sun and you can see a total solar eclipse
What happens if you stand at the penumbra when there is lunar eclipse?
You will se a partial solar eclipse because oly part of the sun’s light is blocked
What is a solar eclipse?
The moon goes in between the sun and the earth so that you can’t see the sun and the moon can’t reflect any light in the earth’s direction because the sun is on the other side. Other light rays shine through so that the moon is outlines with a light
What happens if you are standing at the umbra when it’s a solar eclipse?
You can we partial and total eclipses
How is a penumbra produced in a solar eclipse?
The earth is between the moon and the sun
