Hazard zone
Any area that requires an scba or in which a ff is at risk of becoming lost, trapped and injured by the environment or structure.

Exceptions to delivering TCard to accountability officer
- They are the only unit at the scene.
- They are first arriving unit going into quick attack mode prior to the establishment of a command post.
- They are assigned to a remote side of the emergency operation before the establishment of a division.
General rules of tcards
- Do not enter the hazard zone.
- Must be maintained at the point of entry in the hazard zone.
- Must reflect only those personnel presently in the hazard zone.
- Must turn in upon entering and be retrieved upon exiting the hazard zone.
Tcards in mid rise and high rise
The first engine to each geographic side of the incident remains accountability location.
Subsequent companies shall deliver tcards to the first in engine and place them in the officers seat or give them to the accountability officer.
Once lobby control is established all crews reporting to the building will deliver their tcards to the lobby control officer.
