Submit bulletin to the chief Officer
They submit to support staff member
Support staff proof reads assigns a bulletin # and disposition.
Fire chief or designee reviews
Approves or routes back for changes

O- one time only, kept until retired
M- MOP/ MOU- serves as a cover sheet for a new or revised GO and is valid until new bulletin supersedes it.
A- annual. Issued each year like vacation picks
Valid until superseded the next year
R- retain. Contains info to be referenced but not to the complexity of a GO. R’s are kept permanently in admin and dot

Posting
Bulletins will be posted for 15 days
The officer will document the receipt, discussion and posting in the daily notes

The g drive is the official storage location of bulletins
Cob maintains these records for 6 years.
- 3 in the office and 3 in storage
Destroyed after 6 years
R’s will be permanently archived
FC’s admin assist will maintain a paper archive at fire admin

After 15 days of posting, the bulletin will be logged and added to the binder
Station and Dot binders will be stored for 5 years

Commercial class air b with air brake and tank endorsement
