Water control valves
A
White valve cover-
Operate these valves as white as the designation for hydrant control valves.
Red valve cover-
Do not operate. These are pressure zone control valves. Operating zone gates will cause excess pressure in the infrastructure and can result in extensive damage.
Blue valve cover-
Do not operate. Shutting these valves off to isolate a water line break can cause microbial contamination leading to water supply quality and customer impacts.
