What are the clinical signs of Pd?
A
Lack of movement initiation, rigidity (cogwheel or lead pipe), loss of trunk rotation, dysarthria (talking), dysphagia (swallowing), tremor, slow movements, shuffling gait, balance problems

What is the difference between intention tremor and resting tremor?
A
Resting = all the time Intention = worse as they get closer to the task

A
A dysfunction in the basal ganglia causes a lack of production of a neurotrasmitter called dopamine
