A

What is TACS

A

Total anterior circulation syndrome
Is diagnosed when all 3 symptoms:

  • Higher dysfunction (Speech, vision and consciousness)
  • Vision loss on same side on both eyes
  • Motor and sensory defects

A

Partial anterior circulation syndrome is diagnosed when 2/3 symtpoms but 1 is spared:

  • Higher Dysfunction (Speech, vision and consciousness)
  • Vision out of both eyes same side
  • Motor and sensory defects

Dysarthria (words)
