They produce food for the plant.

To anchor the plant in the soil.

That a plant in one year grow out of it’s seed and will produce new seeds.

The root grows bigger and the stem starts to grow out of the soil.

The first leaves start to grow.
What is the fourth step of the life cycle?
The plant grows and develops more leaves and roots.

The plant grows flowers,fruit and eventually new seeds.

Plants with an life cycle.
What is a biennial plant?
Plant with a life cycle of two years

A plant that makes seeds after seeds and lives for many years
