Yes, of course, Avicci or Tim Bergling as his name was – a brilliant man that left this world way too soon. In 2018, just 28 years old.
The big building is where he went to school, Östra Real. Went to school there, so did our former prime minister Carl Bildt.

Another guy…
Another guy who lives in this neighborhood is Sweden’s in-official king. You might have heard of him, his name is Zlatan Ibrahimović and he lives just a couple of blocks from here on your right hand side. He bought a church a couple of years ago. Suits him very well to live in a church, close to God since he thinks that he is GOD himself.
This roundabout is…
This roundabout is Karlaplan. One of the biggest in the city. If you look at it from above it’s shaped like a star where the 6 streets stretch out different directions.
The fountain in the middle we need to turn off at the beginning of June. Why do we do that? It’s graduation time in Stockholm and if we don’t turn it off, our dare students use this as the private swimming pool.

Fimpar vi inte Karlaplans fontänen i början av juni ligger våra kära studenter här och kör ryggsim. Helt ovetande om den tuffa framtid de går till mötes.
Ingmar Bergman – one of our biggest in modern culture used to live in the brown building to your left. Bergman the writer and movie director was nominated for 9 Oscars, he won 3, and is mostly known for the movie Fanny & Alexander from 1984.
Ingmar Bergman bodde alltså i det bruna huset vi passerade. Det kallas Strindberghuset – efter att Strindberg bodde där en tid av sitt liv i huset som stod där innan bruna.
