16
Q

Glenoid Cavity (Fossa)

A

Articulates with the humeral head, labrum.

On the lateral, superior end, next to coronoid process.

17
Q

Coracoid process

A

Superior, lateral end, anterior to the acromion.

Attachment: pectoralis minor, biceps brachii, coracobrachialis.

18
Q

Supraglenoid tubercle of the scapula

A

Just above the glenoid fossa.

Attachment: long head of biceps brachii tendon.

19
Q

Infraglenoid tubercle of the scapula

A

Just below the glenoid fossa.

Attachment: long head of triceps brachii tendon.

20
Q

Surgical neck of the humerus

A

Narrowest part of the shaft.
Prone to fractures.
Below the tubercles and the anatomical neck.

21
Q

Anatomical neck of the humerus

A

Below the head of the humerus.
Thin.
Attachment: articular capsule.

22
Q
