  • Wearing of contaminated protective clothing or equipment outside of work areas designated for embalming or other preparation of human remains shall be prohibited.
  • When protective clothing or equipment has lost its integrity or been penetrated by blood or other potentially infectious material it shall be removed and the skin shall be washed.
  • Extraordinary precaution shall be taken to avoid the possibility of a needle stick or other injury caused by sharps.
