Treatment of Migraine?
How to take Buccul teblet?

A

Treat with just pain relief
Sumatriptan (PO) but avoid during pregnancy
Prochlorperazine is used to treat nausea and vomiting (safe in pregnancy)
NSAIDs (after 30 Wks NO NO in pregnancy)
Paracetamol
With codeine

Dose: Prochlorperazine Buccal tablet BD. placed between gums to dissolve, Improvement would show in 60 mins

A

Experiencing first time after 50 years of age
Severe headache, fever, Blood pressure, Seizure, Confusion
Pregnancy,
Age below 18 years

Caution for migraine medicine Prochlorperazine?

A

Prochlorperazine make dizzi so avoid driving, or running heavy vehicle.

Do not drink alcohol.
