Nose & Sinuses: Nasal Polyps

Patient with asthma presents with difficulty breathing through the nose and decreased sense of smell. What is your Dx?

Nasal Polyps (can also have pale boggy masses on PE)

How do you treat them?

Answer 2

Topical nasal corticosteroid for 3 months + 6 day oral taper steroids. IF too big = surgical removal.
