Numbness/tingling in 4th/5th fingers, weak grip, loss of some finger flexion, loss of finger ab/adduction
Humerus fracture above condyles, entrapment of n. by pronator teres, carpal tunnel syndrome →
Median n. (C6-T1)
“Hand of benediction”, “Ape hand-flat thenar eminence”, pain/tender in anterior-proximal
Falling onto neck/shoulders and increasing angle
Bicep damage →
Superior trunk (C5-C6)
“Erb’s Palsy”, “waiter’s tip” position (elbow pronated, extended, arm internally rotated)
Pulling arm too much (abduction of arm)
Hanging from tree, pulling baby out →
Inferior trunk (C8-T1)
“Klumpke’s Palsey”, “Claw hand-wrist extended” (ulnar n.)
