- language - particularly in conservative nationalism where this is seen as a key factor of someone’s identity because they argue that shared culture and history binds people together

  • Religion , example Jewish identity connects religion and nation . ie islamic nations and leaders connect religion and nations
  • Culture - britain is a multicultural and multi ethnic
