Acute treatment
A
Organic nitrates to rule out angina pectoris. Morphine for the pain. Oxygen to calm the patient. Aspirin to prevent further clots. PCI to remove the clot. Beta blockers to stop ANS activity which heightens pain.

Post treatment
A
Statins to reduce blood cholesterol. Aspirin to prevent clots. ACE inhibitors and ARBs if the patient has hypertension, diabetes or heart failure. Beta blockers because of heart remodeling effects.
