Q

Glucocorticoids

A

Inhibit NFkB and AP1 and decrease prounflammatory cytokines and lymphocyte recruitment. Activate GRE which creates antiinflammatory factors like annexin 1 which stops prostaglandin synthesis. SE kushings syndrome (lipolysis, abdominal fat deposition, skin thinning, impaired wound healing, osteoporosis, diabetes, moos instability and sleep disturbances.
