S: lower ant thigh, knee, medial calf
M: hip flexion (psoas major) + knee extend (quad)

Mass on iliopsoas/iliacus
Nerve root, S + M, and cause of injury of common fibular
L4-S2 - lateral branch of sciatic nerve - will split into superficial and deep fibular nerves
S: lateral calf + top foot +
M: dorsiflex + evert + extend toes (all up)
Damage foot will be plantar + invert
Compress or fracture fibular head
Nerve root, S + M, and cause of injury of tibial
L4-S3 - medial branch of sciatic nerve
S: bottom foot
M: plantar flex + invert + toe flex (all down)
Trauma to knee
