What is MS? What are the clinical manifestations of Metabolic Syndrome?
A
Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of conditions that occur together, increasing risk of heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes.
These conditions include increased blood pressure, high fasting blood sugar, obesity/overweight, abnormal triglyceride levels, and low HDL cholesterol levels.
