When you have completed the shunting you must not proceed on the journey until the signal is cleared or you receive a MA, unless the signaller gives authority.

When should you operate the TPWS temporary isolation switch?
When authorised to enter:-
A section of line where ESW is in operation
A section of line where TBW is in operation
A single line working section when working by pilotman or modified working is in operation, and you have to pass more than one signal at danger
A line is under possession.
BEFORE LEAVING YHE SECTION OF LINE YOU MUST REINSTATE TPWS
YOU MUST OPERATE THE TPWS TRAIN STOP OVERIDE BUTTON WHEN YOU ARE AUTHORISED TO PASS A SIGNAL AT DANGER IN ALL OGHEF CIRCUMSTANCES.

Are there any circumstances where you can travel over points and crossings at a higher speed?
Check switch diamonds or swing nose crossings are in correct position for your train.
Pass over these points and crossings at no more than 15mph.
Yes, You can pass over points and crossings at up to 50mph if given permission to do so during ESW, TBW or when making wrong direction movements during single line working.

If told that your train is the first to enter the ESW section you must:
Approach points and crossings at caution
Check they are in the correct position
