What does the hormone Aldosterone do?
A
Targets kidney to promote sodium retention and potassium excretion which leads to water retention

What do Alpha cells secrete?
A
Glucagon. Glucagon stimulates liver cells to convert glycogen into glucose causing blood glucose levels to rise.

What do Beta cells do?
A
Secrete insulin. Insulin stimulates cells to absorb glucose.

What do Delta Cells secrete?
A
Somatostatin which works within the pancreas to regulate with other endocrine cells.

Secrete hormones having a role in the development of the immune system
