To prevent water contamination
What do check valves prevent?
Backwards flow of air and water
When would the air compressor be used to pressurise the potable water tank?
When the pneumatic bleed air is unavailable
How is the air compressor activated?
Via pressure switch in between the pressure relief valve and the two check valves
Where is the pressure relief valve located?
Between the tank and the pressure switch
When refilling a potable water tank, what are they filled until?
Until water comes out of the overflow valve
What is the water filled from?
Water servicing panel
What valve allows filling of the potable water system?
Fill/overflow valve
What type of valve is the fill/overflow valve?
4-way rotary core valve
Where is the water tank quantity show?
On the water servicing panel and the cabin attendants panel

Flushing agent from the waste tank the is passed through filters before being pumped

The separator
What is a vacuum toilet flushed with?
Potable water
Where do the vacuum toilets drain to?
Waste holding tanks
