Formula for true altitude -

A

4% for each 10 degrees ISA deviation.

Also, you need to correct for pressure if needed. If the QNH is lower than standard(lower pressure exist, the altimeter will over-read, you need to subtract from PA), if higher (higher pressure, altimeter will under-read, you need to add to PA).

Just remember hot to cold, don’t be bold. High to low, look down below.
