Mitoisis2 Flashcards
0
Q
What happens in Prophase 2?
A
nuclear envelop breaks down and nucleolus disappears.
1
Q
What happens in Metaphase 2?
A
- The two cells produced by meiosis I now enter meiosis II.
* The tetrads, homologous pairs, line up in the center of the cell.
2
Q
What happens in Anaphase?
A
The sister chromatids are pulled apart from each other and move to opposite sides of the cell.
3
Q
What happens in Telophase 2?
A
The nuclear membranes form around each set of chromosomes at opposite ends.
•The spindle fibers break apart and the cell undergoes Cytokinesis
4
Q
What happens in Cytokinesis?
A
The end result is four haploid cells with a combination of chromosomes from both the mother and father.
