Sulfa-
drink water, sun exposure can cause you to get crispy, rashes, steven johnson syndrome, need a back up birth control method
Methimazole
Iodine will increase thyroid production avoids foods containing, watch for hypothyroid
Levothyroxine
lifetime medication, should take on an empty stomach, titrated dosages (6-8 week), watch for hyperthyroid and cardiac issues
Prednisone
needs to be tapered off so that body can make its own cortisol, do not stop abruptly, steroid
Ciprofoxacin
avoid calcium at dosage times, give with water, watch sun, N+V, psych (depression) changes
Clindamycin
How often is your stool loose? Continue drinking water to stay hydrated

How often is your stool loose? (multiple loose stools can be fatal) Continue drinking water to stay hydrated
Glipizide/Glimepiride
Not a long term solution, do not double dosage, can cause hypoglycemia
Vancomycin
If a vancomycin infusion reaction occurs it is okay, we are expecting it, not an allergic reaction, will resolve
-illins
Stevens johnson syndrome (sore throat, lesions, puffy eyes, rash) Allergy is common
Gentamicin
May lose hearing or need to be on dialysis but will be alive
-cycline
- stay out of the sun (severe sunburn)
- take on an empty stomach
- avoid dairy (teeth staining)
