What are the signs of feline oestrus?
A
No physical signs - only behavioural. Vocalisation, lordosis of spine, rubbing along objects, presenting back end

A
It is a very fast act - ejaculation is immediate

How long does canine mating last?
A
Male mounts female and a ‘tie’ occurs where the male is locked into female via contraction of the vaginal muscles - this tie can persist for an average of 20 minutes.
