A
  • Patient in supine with foot hanging off the bed
  • With one hand grab the lower leg and with the other hand cup the heel while keeping your arm laying against the sole of their foot
  • Pull the heel up for dorsiflexion

  • Grab the heel with one hand and have your arm laying flat on their sole
  • Grab the other side of the ankle with one hand
  • Push in opposite directions against each other

A
  • Patient in supine with foot over the edge of the bed
  • Grab the big toe with one hand and stabilise the joint line with the other using the finger and thumb for both movements and join your thumbs up
  • Slightly distract the big toe by pulling it out a bit
  • Push toe down for AP glide

A

–Patient is in supine

  • Put knee into flexion and then stretch out into extension
  • Put one arm on the ankle and the other just above the knee and slightly lift the ankle for knee hyper extensioon

–Support around the knee and around the foot and perform all grades in this position

  • If knee is very sore could do with patient prone
