- Loss of more than one blood volume in 24 hrs.
- 50% of total blood volume lost in 3 hours.
- Bleeding in excess of 150ml/min

Describe the management of an acute haemorrhage
A
- Call 2222 and state major haemorrhage.
- Request major haemorrhage pack (Contain 6units of packed red cells, 4 units of FFP and 1 pooled platelets)

- Coagulopathy
- Hypothermia,
- Hypocalcaemia,
- Acidosis,
