A

Maximum useable volume of air that can be inhaled from rest and exhaled to end of breath
i.e. take deepest breath from rest and breathe it ALL OUT

Resting Volume

A

Amount of air that you can exhale from resting position (resting = end of exhale)
i.e. how much air you have left after normal exhale; inhale, exhale, exhale further
40% of vital capacity
Includes the residual volume

A
