A

Pneumonia
Aspiration
Septic emboli
Sub-phrenic or sub-hepatic abscess

A

Alcoholism

Bronchial obstruction

A
Swinging fever
Cough
Foul smelling sputum
Pleuritic chest pain
Haemoptysis
Malaise

A

Bloods (Hb - anaemia / neutrophils / CRP / Blood cultures)
Sputum microscopy culture and cytology
CXR
