Femoral nerve : L2-L4 largest nerve of lumbar plexus supplies anterior part of thigh
Obturator nerve : L2-L4 supplies medial part of thigh
(both stop at knee)
Sciatic nerve : L4-S3 supplies skin and muscles to thigh, leg and foot
Lumbosacral trunk : gives rise to sciatic nerve

- 135 degrees in 3 year old
- 126 degrees in adults
- 120 degrees in old age
- woman have greater angle of inclination than men
- head of femur will go medially and also slightly anterior and superiorly
