According to Scripture, what is the inevitable result of lostness?
Death-Romans 6:23-The wages of sin is death
Separation from God-2 Thessalonians 1:8-9-“He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might.”
What is the destiny of those who die outside of Christ having heard the Gospel?
Hell-Separation from God-

Salvation only through Christ-
John 14:6-“Jesus answered I am the way, and the truth, and the light. No on ecomes from the Father except through me.”
Men are without excuse:
Romans 1:20-“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”
All fall short of the glory of God: Romans 3:23
What does the Bible teach about Hell? Is it literal?
Eternal punishment is separation from God…yes it is literal.
- Eternal fire and punishment: Matthew 25-Parable of the 10 virgins.
- Lake of fire: Revalation 21
Is there any possibility of salvation after death?
No. Rich man in Luke 16 could not go back
Appointed to die once, then face judgement-
Hebrews 9:27-“Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgement.”
