Vitamin D- is good for blood sugar

It helps strengthen bones cuz it helps the body absorb calcium.

In order for Calcium to absorb, vitamin D is needed. D also helps promote a healthy immune system.

Vitamin D is referred to as the sunshine vitamin because the sun triggers vitamin D synthesis in the skin

Three forms of D: D2 comes from food, D3 comes synthetically; and D5 comes from the sun, fish, or some vegan foods. Can’t get it from pills

Older adults aren’t efficient at absorbing vitamin D, we don’t get enough sun, and don’t eat enough fish and eggs. This is why we’re deficient
