Describe a training collar
stainless steel links with rings at the end. Thicker for more muscular dogs, thinner for smaller breeds. Incorrectly referred to as a choker collar. Never leave on unattended - can catch on cages and other items and kill or injure the dog
Describe a Gentle Leader Collar
Nylon head halter that fits around the dogs nose and behind it’s ears. Helps control the dogs head and prevents pulling.
What is Venipuncture
Puncturing a vein for the collection or blood or administration of medication
Most common sites for Venipuncture
Cephalic vein(dog’s forearm), Saphenous(outer surface of the hind leg), Jugular (front of the dog’s neck)
