Prescribed leader
Appointed from outside of the group, so someone put in position to manage a team such as Gareth Southgate
Emergent leader
Appointed from within the group so someone that emerges as a natural leader for the group
Positive of a Perscribed leader
Have the ability and quality to do a good job
Negative of a prescribed leader
Team may not like them as they had no decision in appointment
Positives of a Emergent leader
Good as the team like them so will listen
Negative of a Emergent leader
Lack experience to act and lead well
