A

Word that refers to 1 thing and babies overextend the reference e.g. looks up and says moon,sees a cricket ball and thinks thats a moon too

A

Common noun that they treat as a proper name e.g. knows name of family pet as dog but doesn’t extend that to any other dog.

Overregularisaion error

A

At ages 3-8, something goes on in the mind where the grammatical rule is extracted and becomes overapplied. They take the past tense and the stem and just add ‘ed’ e.g. blowed up
