What are desmosomes?
A
Strong junctions which anchor adjacent cells together which allows them to stretch and maintain contact.

They are polarised.

What does pseudostratified columnar mean?
A
1 layer of oddly shaped cells. Their nuclei are in different positions in each cell

A
Differing cell layer shapes.
It has many layers
Some layers may be cuboidal or columnar

A
Bladder for stretch

A
Mature from the basal layer and migrate towards the surface.
