A

Non-judging -> paying close attention to how we think and feel in the present moment. Not allowing ourselves to get caught up in judgements to the point where they distort out views and behaviours

A

Patience -> an understanding that sometimes things must happen in their own time, and rushing them might be detrimental

A

Beginners mind -> through experience, we become so used to seeing things unfold that we take things for granted and miss the finer details. A beginners mind is less restrained and more receptive of new possibilities

A

Trust -> having trust in yourself and your intuition rather than always looking for external guidance. Listening to your gut feelings rather than discounting them. Trust in your wisdom and in your body to react and support when needed.

A

Non striving -> sometimes it is healthy to spend time being ourselves , accepting things are fine as they are and not striving for something different

A

Acceptance -> acceptance is the first step to change. Acceptance involves coming to terms with things as they are, often we waste time and energy trying to change things that can’t be changed. Sometimes in not trying to force change, we create a more compassionate environment where growth and growth occurs more organically

What is step 7 of mindfulness??

A

Letting go -> often our minds get caught up in chasing thoughts. These thought process can lead us to places we do t want to be and result in fixations and negative feelings. Mindfulness helps us to be aware of thoughts that come and go, without feeling the need to hold onto every single one
