What do you see if DMC 1, 2 or 3 fails?

A

In case of DMC 1 or 2: “Invalid data” on DU’s. Use CPT/FO 3

In case of DMC 3: Nothing but you get ECAM. If CPT/FO 3 was selected, DMC 2 will drive the ECAM

A

Use “ECAM/ND XFR” to display EWD on either ND

AND

Push and hold (max 3 min) the related system page Pb to temporarily display a system/status page on the ND

What happens if the CAPT’s LEFT EFIS screen fails? How can the ND be displayed?

A
  • The PFD will auto transfer to the ND screen
  • Manually switch the PFD “OFF”

or

  • Press the PFD/ND XFR button (cross changes PFDU/NDU)

A

The monitoring system senses an unusual parameter value.
This auto pops up the relevant system page on S/D
Effected parameter pulses green

If the SD fails, ADV will show on lower part of E/WD and flashes in white

Toggle the SD pages by pressing the STS Pb for max 2 sec

To maintain the required SD page, keep pressing the STS button (max the system allows is 3 min)
