*Joel’s friends convince him not to go because something smells strange in the back of the store.

-Imperative verbs are verbs which create an imperative sentence, i.e. a sentence that gives an order

-Otherwise, gather your belongings together and go!

*When Ir sees that pandas lying in the wrecked building sleeping, Ir says that they need a vet, not an ear doctor.
• Ir says “Go away and take them to a vet! [vete]”
