An inhaled anticholinergic drug that acts
synergistically with Salbutamol to increase
bronchodilation in bronchospasm and inhibits
cholinergic bronchomotor tone.

• Moderate to severe
bronchospasm (not
responsive to initial
salbutamol nebulisation)
- KSAR
- Patients <1 year
Glaucoma

Dosages
A
adult: EMT 2 NEB 500mcg Repeat at 20 minutes if required Max dose 1.5mg
Paediatric: EMT 2 NEB ≥ 6 years 500mcg Repeat at 20 minutes if required Max dose 1.5mg 1-5 years 250mcg Repeat at 20 minutes if required Max dose 750mcg
