Dystonic reactions (rare) e.g. slurred speech, anxiety, paranoia

Acute behavioural
disturbance
KSAR • Parkinson’s disease • Previous dystonic reaction to Droperidol • Patients <14 years old
• Patients on CNS depressants • Patients with cardiac disease • Elderly patients

Dosages
A
IM: ≥65yrs - 5mg Repeat after 15mins if required Max dose 10mg 16yrs - <65yrs - 10mg Repeat after 15mins if required Max dose 20mg 14yrs - <16yrs 0.1-0.2mg/kg Single dose not to exceed 10mg Repeat after 15mins if required Max dose 10mg
