- Predictive: allows for testable hypotheses that cannot be derived from a different theory

What does social psychology study?
It studies social (an individual in a situation) and cognitive (a situation in an individual) processes that shape human behaviour
What is behaviourism?
The notion that human behaviour can be shaped by and predicted from a configuration of positive and negative reinforcements present in the environment
What is Gestalt?
It studies how social environment is represented in human mind and how social representations shape behaviours
What is Gestalt in your own words?
How a social event looks like in our mind and how social situations influence our behaviour. So it is all about that cognitive work that is carried out in our mind as a result of social situations.
