Q

Evaluate different systems of government

A
  • According to Huntington the nature of the government is not as important in shaping global order as cultural and regional factors as expressed in the clash of civilisations
  • The nature of government is not important because of the increased globalisation and complex interdependence which means that global governance , international law and the global market restricts state behaviour
  • The nature of polarity and a states position in the international hierarchy has more impact than the nature of government
