Abdominal cramps/pain relived by defection or altered bowel habits plus two or more of: urgency, bloating, nausea, backache, bladder symptoms, PR mucosa and/or incomplete defecation

A
Exclusion of other organic causes of bowel trouble

Symptomatic and/or causative
