A
- Had a bike accident at 7, fractured skull
- Suffered from seizures ever since, got increasingly worse
- Had a lobotomy at 27
- Lost memories + couldn’t form any

What did we learn from H.M’s case study?
A
H.m’s cerebellum + basal ganglia still intact - He could still remember some skills like tying shoelaces. Means procedural memory stored in cerebellum + basal ganglia
