Palps - worse in day

spontaneous sweating
T - pale or normal
P - xu
Pathology - Qi not strong enough to pump blood. General qi xu,
Wei qi not holding the fluids, Zong qi impairing respiration
Insufficient qi to nourish the limbs - lassitude.
Aetiology - blood loss, emotional issues, chronic illness

To: He Yang Xu, Lu Qi Xu
TP Tonify He Qi
Points: Tonify

Moxa
He Yang Xu
Palps when tired, on exertion (shortness of breath) or cold
Pale face
Feels cold
Spiritual fatigue
Stuffy feeling in chest
dark lips, bright white complexion
P - deep, weak, slow, knotted if severe
T - Pale wet swollen
Pathology - Same as he qi xu (qi is part of yang).
Qi not strong enough to pump blood. General qi xu,
Wei qi not holding the fluids, Zong qi impairing respiration

Feeling cold and cold hands as yang not transporting blood to extremities
Dark lips and stuffy g=feeling in chest - yang failing to move qi leading to blood stag.

TP - Tonify and warm He Yang
Points: Tonify
He5 connecting st - Luo connecting tonify he qi
He 7 Shen Gate. Earth Ysp. Tonifies all he patterns. Calm & strengthen spirit.
PC6 inner gate Opens the chest harmonise the stomach, strengthen and calm spirit. Opening point of Yin Wei Mai.
Pc 7 Great Burial Mound. Ysp. Earth. Sedation. Strengthen and calm spirit.
Bl 14, Back Shu Pc
Bl 15, Back Shu Heart
Ren 6, sea of qi - tonify qi and yang, ton to clear damp and move qi
Ren 14 Greatest Palace Gate Front mu point Heart. tonify any heart problem strengthen and calm spirit
Ren 17 Middle of the Chest Front Mu pt Pc and upper burner. Hui point for qi, pt of sea of qi.

Pathology - Shen deprived of residence causing psych emotional issues. Heart qi is not rooted causing palms, dizziness - blood’s not nourishing the brain.
Aetiology
Blood loss, poor diet, anxiety and worry.

Moxa
He Yin Xu
Palps - worse at night and when at rest, waking during the night, bad dreams, mental restlessness, fidgeting, mental restlessness, hot and bothered, easily startled, poor memory, anxiety.
P - Floating, empty
T- Red tip. Partially peeled, may be mid line crack to tip
Path - He Yin Xu includes He Bl Xu (Bl is part of Yin) leading to Shen disturbance. Heat symptoms - empty heat from long standing Yin xu.
Aetiology - Long standing anxiety and worry. Overwork - always on the go. After effect of external heat.
From: He Bl Xu, He Fire Blazing, Kid Yin Xu, Liv Yin Xu
TP Nourish He Yin, nourish Kid Yin if necessary, Clear empty heat if necessary. Pacify Shen.

Heart Fire Blazing
Strong palps, worse when agitated. Pronounced mental restlessness, panic attacks, agitation, insomnia, bad dreams, feels hot, thirst, mouth ulcers, bitter taste, dark uring (sometimes bl in urine)
P - Full, overflowing
T Red, red tip, red spots, midline crack to tip
Yellow coat
Pathology - Heat - thirst, red face felling hot. Mental restlessness - heat disturbing the Shen, ulcers heat rising to the tongue, bitter east from he opening onto the tongue. Heart fire transfers to SI then Bl causing urinary symps.
Aetiology: Emotional - anxiety, worry depression. Excess spicy food/ alcohol, drugs.

To: Heart Yin Xu, Spleen Heat, Stomach Fire.
TP: Clear He Fire, pacify Shen
Points: Even or reduction.

Phlegm Fire Harassing the Heart
Strong palms worse when agitated, severe mental restlessness sometimes alternating with depression, dullness and confusion. Bad dreams, bitter taste, thirst, red face, oppression in chest, expectoration of phlegm, rattling in throat, worst case: manic behaviour, aphasia or coma.
P: Full, Slippery, Wiry, overflowing, rapid
T: Red, swollen, deep midline crack reaching tip
Yellow and sticky
Pathology: All due to fire/heat. Mental symps due to phlegm blocking heart orifices so Shen disturbed and lack of clarity in mind. Phlegm form sp qi xu, and heat condenses it. Other symps due to heat in He
Aetiology: Severe emotional probs and poor diet (too many hot and greasy foods)

Sp Qi Xu
To: Yin Xu, Blood Stasis
TP: Clear heart heat, resolve phlegm, pacify Shen open heart orifices.
Points: Even or reduction

Phlegm misting the mind
Dull eyes, confusion, depression. Palps, rattling in throat, incoherent speech, aphasia, heavy feeling in chest, severe cases - unconscious lethargic stupor, vomiting phlegm.
P - Slippery
T - swollen - midline crack reaching tip. Thick sticky coat.
Path - All due to phlegm - no heat. He open onto tongue so phlegm causing aphasia. Phlegm obstructs orifices so mental symps. Vomitting and rattling doe t phlegm on chest, Usually a background of SP Qi Xu causing the damp/phlegm.
Aetiology: Children: constitutional. Adults: Poor diet, excess greasy raw food, chronic emotional issues, after attack of wind stroke.
From: Sp, Lu, Kidney deficiency
To: Qi Xu, Bl stasis.
TP: Resolve phlegm, open heart orifices, restore consciousness if necessary.
Points: Even or Reduction
He 9, Pc5, Bl15, St40, Du 26
Heart Bl Stagnation
Stabbing Pain in chest radiating down arm/shoulder. Often worse in cold weather or on exertion. Palps, oppression in the chest. Cyanosed lips, nails, cold hands.
P - Knotted, choppy or wiry
T - Purple
Pathology - usually from He Bl Xu, He Yang Xu. If He Yang Xu it fails to move the Bl causing stagnation - cyanosed lips nails feeling cold etc.
Aetiology: Long term emotional issues. He Yang Xu, He Bl Xu, long term overwork.
