Somnolence
Drowsiness, sluggishness, lack of mental alertness that can effect your daily performance and lead to life-threatening sleepiness when driving
Primary idiopathic hypersomnia
Excessive daytime sleepiness w/o narcolepsy or associated features of another sleep disorder
Sleep inertia
A state characterized by cognitive impairment, grogginess, disorientation, that is experienced on rising from short sleep or long naps
CBT-I
Cognitive behavioral therapy
Helps people better understand the thoughts and feelings that influence their behaviors focus on changing habits that disrupt sleep
Parasomnia
The abnormal things that disrupt sleep, !including some of the major problems such as sleep apnea
Nocturia
Having to use the bathroom frequently at night
