  • It is a notification that construction projects need to send that informs HSE (Health and Safety Executive) about the project - like when the work will take place, where, and who by.
  • F10 is the code given to the form you need to use to notify the HSE about a construction project. Notifying the HSE about construction work is a legal requirement when you meet the criteria.

A construction project is notifiable if the construction work is expected to:

  • last longer than 30 working days and have more than 20 workers working at the same time at any point on the project or
  • exceed 500 person days
