Features of a group (4)

A
  • Interaction between group members- way that team members work together to complete a task.
  • A collective identity- wearing the same kit, team members will feel a strong affiliation and a sense of pride. Affiliation helps give motivation and a sense of belonging to the team.
  • Shared objectives or a common goal- prospect of achieving success is what often keeps players in the team and working together.
  • Communication- talk to each other (verbally) to help with interaction and non-verbally like coded plays eg. Line out in rugby.
